Advice to Freshman Students: It is okay to not follow the crowd. It is okay to be yourself and if you don’t know who that is, that is fine too! College is a perfect opportunity to have experiences that will help you mold into the person you desire to be. Lastly, never be afraid to ask for help. There are resources for just about everything on campus (academic, personal and financial). Transitioning to college from high school is tough but we hope to make it as smooth as possible. We want to support you in your success here at OSU.
Interests/Hobbies: I enjoy painting, cooking, singing, and I love to travel. I studied abroad in Peru during winter break while I was in undergrad. It completely changed my perspective on what is important in life. I also love poetry; both writing and watching performances.
Interesting Fact: I love to travel on a dime! Like who really likes to pay full price for anything? I also love action movies of all kinds! I absolutely do not like scary movies!
What EMPOWER’S you? My faith, family and friends empower me. They push me to be the best version of myself in all areas of my life. With the support of them I can achieve anything!
